CARNIVAL AND ASH WEDNESDAY: From February 28th to March 5th, all across the globe, the carnival will be celebrated until the Ash Wednesday initiates the Lenting season for Christians.

BLACK MUSIC FESTIVAL BRAUNSCHWEIG – Mar. 2nd

The rescheduled event will see seven DJs, lots of drinks and food at the newly opened Millenium Event Center. Tickets will cost 10 € in their basic fare. More information here.

BRUNSWICK’S CARNIVAL: SCHODUVEL – Mar. 3rd

It is that time of the year, again: The traditional carnival parade Schoduvel takes place across the city centre. Join the party, wear a costume and grab some sweets! More information here.

GAUSS FRIENDS: CARNEVAL – Mar. 3rd

We would like to experience the annual Braunschweig Carnival parade in front of Gauss Haus together with you. Take a short break from learning and come by and enjoy the music and the colorful wagons. You can stay as long as you want and even wear a costume if you’re in the mood for it. The Gauss Haus will be open for you, in case you need a break in between or you want to sit down with a cup of tea. More information here.
