Gauss-Tips

Here they are: Your weekly fresh Gauss-Tips for July 10th-17th

GAUSS FRIENDS: INTERNATIONAL TIPP-KICK-EVENING – July 11th

Do you want to meet new people, learn a brand new game and a small part of German culture? Then sign-up for the first international Tipp-Kick-Evening of the Gauss Friends. Tipp-Kick is a German table soccer game that has a fast pace, is intelligent and can be breathtaking sometimes. In contrast to foosball, you only have two players per side. You don’t need to have experience – all rules will be explained and at the end of the night, the Tipp-King-King will be crowned after a small tournament. You do not need to have foreknowledge in football (soccer) or Tipp-Kick itself. All you need is joy, the desire to learn new things and bring something to eat or to drink for everyone. The evening has a maximum capacity of ten persons, as we only have three sets to play on. The event will be on July, the 11th 2019 at 18:30 pm at the Gauss Bibliothek (Bültenweg 74/75, 3. Stock). BRAUNSCHWEIG: SOUND-CHECKEN IV – July 12th

The Schrill will hosts some concerts this weekend including acts such as OPAK and Salem and Friends. The shows are free and start at 7pm. More information here.

GAUSS FRIENDS: HARZ-TOUR – July 13th

We would like to go all together to the Harz and hike through the highest mountains in Northern Germany. Come by and enjoy the nature with us. At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to meet new people. The estimated length of the hiking path is ca. 15-20km. (All information without any guarantee). The meeting point will be at Braunschweig central station at the Info point at 9am.
Bring comfortable shoes, something to drink and eat and a good mood! You’ll also have the chance to purchase something at the supermarket in Bad Harzburg, before we begin with the hiking-tour.
Participation is free and no registration is required! Don’t forget your student ID to ride the train for free! More information here.
