BRAUNSCHWEIG: CHINESE NEW YEAR GALA – Jan. 10th, 6:30 pm

The Association of Chinese Students and Scientists is hosting a gala in the Braunschweig State Theater. The program includes dance and music, kung fu and other martial arts as well as Chinese comedy. The Spring Festival is the most important festival in China and heralds the new year according to the lunar calendar. Tickets are available on January 8th from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm and from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in Mensa 1. Tickets cost between 3 and 9 euros. Admission is at 6:30 pm, the gala begins at pm.

BRAUNSCHWEIG: Concert Duesenjaeger + El Mariachi + Die Freundin von – Jan. 10th, 8:00 pm

This evening, three bands play at Nexus. Duesenjaeger sings about wanderlust and escape from an unbearable everyday life. Melancholic and angry at the same time. German punk and punk rock with German lyrics. El Mariachi is all about punk with a lot of thoughts, feeling and anger that sweeps you away. Die Freundin von is also there and brings solid punk. BRAUNSCHWEIG:  MUSICAL EVENING OF ENCOUNTER – Jan. 11th, 6:00 pm

DALI BUDE (in English: “To be continued”) combines international music in different languages ​​with traditional Ukrainian sounds. Intercultural RAST ORCHESTRA plays Turkish classical, chansons, folk songs and art music. During the break, Turkish snacks are served at the tasting buffet. Entry costs 6 euros for adults and 3 euros for children. More information here
