Braunschweig, art exhibition: light course “Lichtparcours” – from 13.06. each evening

The Lichtparcours is an outdoor exhibition distributed throughout the city that can be visited alone or with friends. Everywhere on the Oker there are light works that only fully unfold their beauty in the evening.
The artistic focus of the Oker and its 24 bridges is at the heart of the 2020 light trail. The characteristic topography of the city center, which is surrounded by historical watercourses, is also the starting point for different positions for the 5th light course. 15 works, both sculptural and cinematic, have been developed for specific locations by international artists.
Various events, such as workshops, concerts, tours, complete the program of the four-month exhibition (until October). Whether on foot, by bike or by water – the light trail offers opportunities for all kinds of evening city tours.

Entry to the Lichtparcous is free of charge, some events within the Lichtparcours require the purchase of tickets. More information and the entire program is available here.
