Online Festival: Berlin Travel Festival – 09th to 12th March, 2021, each 19:00 to 21:30

The last trip feels like years ago and the wanderlust is growing? The corona virus still restricts travel considerably. But the Berlin Travel Festival, this year under the motto “Travel! But how?” lets visitors immerse themselves in the world of travel. Popular travel destinations, wellness abroad, sustainable travel, adventure holidays and much more will be presented. In four episodes, the festival will look at new travel options in times of the pandemic. On each day of the fair, travel-related topics will be presented from 7 to 9.30 p.m. and will also be available later in the media library.

Participation in the festival is free of charge and without registration. Information on the program can be found here and here you can access the live stream.

Online dance workshop: Mit-Tanz-Mittwoch – from 10th March, 2021 every Wednesday at 6:15 p.m.

Being at home all the time not only makes you tired, but also gives your body far too little exercise. To counteract this persistent tiredness, various dancers from the dance theatre ensemble (Staatstheater Braunschweig) invite you to move together – in a digital dance training!

The dancers offer free training on three different topics: “A journey through the body”, “Living room workout” and “Dance@Home”. The individual training sessions do not build on each other, so it is also possible to register for only individual dates. All you need to join is a computer or mobile phone with a camera and internet access.

To participate, you need to register free of charge by 12 noon the day before (Tuesday) using this link. Afterwards, you will receive a link to the digital training and can then dance along!

Stream: St. Patrick’s Day – 14th March, 2021 from 1 p.m.

With live music streams and greetings from the internet, the Irish will be celebrating in honour of their national saint on 14 March in Munich. Among those taking part will be Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter, the Irish ambassador Nicholas O’Brien and, as a guest, the Irish singer Johnny Logan, as well as many bands and dance groups that have taken part in previous years.

The stream is available for free on Youtube. More info and the link to the stream can be found here.
