RUNDGANG digital 2021 July 15th to 25th

At the end of the summer semester, from July 15th to 25th, 2021, there will be a digital tour at the Braunschweig University of Fine Arts for the first time. Under the title RUNDGANG digital 2021, works and projects will be shown that were created under the difficult conditions of the pandemic.

As in the last tours on site, the fine arts students will focus on the presentations of its diploma students. In three-minute films, 44 final projects are presented. The Performing Arts will show video and live performances as well as digital interventions. Art Education students will provide insights into digital art education. Further program items will follow, so that this specially created weblog will be filled with a diverse range of offerings over the duration of the digital tour.

The website will remain online until the end of September, so that a virtual visit will still be possible at a later date. Note: A physical visit on site is unfortunately not possible this year!

You can find the program here.

Digital offer: And… Action! Film, Fame, and Female Voices – 21.07.2021 at 7:00 pm

Hollywood is synonymous with the film industry and attracts talent from all over the world – including actors and actresses, filmmakers, and directors from Baden-Württemberg. Just think of Roland Emmerich, Nina Hoss or (spoiler alert) Katharina Heyer! These stars started their journey in Baden-Württemberg and ended up in Los Angeles. What inspires them to go to California and is there also a trend for US-American film stars to move overseas to get inspiration there?

The German-American Institute Tübingen welcomes Jacqueline Marteau Emerson (The Hunger Games) and Katharina Heyer (Charité) to their virtual stage to talk about, contrast, and compare their experiences in the film industry on both sides of the Atlantic. The female panel will be moderated by another leading lady: journalist and moderator Christiane Brehl. This is the final event in the series Eureka! Ländle Meets California.
