Panel discussion with members of the Federal Parliament – What about climate protection? – March 30th, 2022 at 6:00 pm

On March 16th, the „traffic light coalition“ will have been in office for exactly 100 days. In the coalition agreement, it had promised that achieving the Paris climate protection targets would be its top priority. However, numerous experts doubt that the measures agreed in the coalition agreement will be sufficient to enable Germany to contribute to the 1.5 °C target.

With the involvement of the audience, the following questions will be discussed with members of the Federal Parliament from the parties of the traffic light coalition and the opposition on the basis of the thematic blocks “Energy” and “Mobility”:

  • What about the climate policy of the new federal government?
  • Are we on the right track or do we still need to make improvements?
  • What should the next steps be?

Pre-registration is requested for on-site attendance at Kufa-Haus. There will also be a livestream.

Art exhibition: „The last supper“ – until April 14th, 2022

From art to parody: artists depict the Last Supper. A very personal selection can be seen in the jakob-kemenate. Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper is considered one of the most famous paintings in the world and has been the model for almost all depictions of the Last Supper for around 500 years – from supreme art to parody. Each artist interprets this final gathering of Jesus with his disciples differently. On view at Braunschweig’s jakob-kemenate, Eiermarkt 1B, through April 14, are ten works by artists whose subject is the Last Supper and almost all of whom have exhibited in the Braunschweig Kemenate at one time or another.

Admission free of charge.
