Maschsee Festival Hannover – until August 14th

Maritime flair until August 14th at Germany’s largest lake festival: The Maschsee Festival with over 2 million guests annually invites you on a world tour over 19 days. The international gastro highlights, free concert highlights under the open sky, exciting activities on the water and a rousing children’s and cabaret program are organized.

Numerous restaurants, beer gardens and bars invite visitors to linger around the lake. Cabaret artists and children’s programs entertain the whole family, lighthouses and lounges directly on the water offer beautiful viewing spots and open-air dance evenings fill the summer evenings with music and a cheerful mood.

Summer Cinema Braunschweig – until August 19th, 2022

The Braunschweig Sommerkino e.V. is celebrating its 10th anniversary and will be showing a total of seven classic films once a week until August 19th. Regional bands and short films by artist Eli Cortiñas provide an exciting supporting program. Alex and Casi’s Jail will offer delicious street food.

Guided tours of the Old Town Hall and original films from the history of Braunschweig – until September 28th, 2022

The volunteer staff of the museum in the Old Town Hall offer public guided tours on the topic of “800 years of Braunschweig’s city history”. Every Saturday at 3:00 p.m., interested people are cordially invited to learn more about the city’s history in the museum. Admission is free, registration (up to five people) is not necessary.

Every Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m., volunteers show original films from the history of Brunswick. The film screening takes place in the media room, and seating is limited. Admission is free, registration is not necessary.
