Panel Discussion: Age of Artificial Intelligence – Is the Human Being a Discontinued Model? – April 25th, 2023 at 5:30 pm

In the field of artificial intelligence, we are currently experiencing a turning point. For the first time, using AI systems is as easy as searching the Internet via Google and other search engines. ChatGPT – a dialog-based speech system – for example, can combine the information available on the Internet in a new way and output it in a human-like manner. Just a few months earlier, other systems such as DALL-E and Midjourney had shown that artificial intelligence is also capable of creating works of art that are indistinguishable from man-made works.

Against the backdrop of the latest developments, the Department of Digitalization, Smart City of the City of Braunschweig invites you to a panel discussion at the Haus der Wissenschaft (Aula). The aim is to discuss the possible impact of technical progress in AI development on the economy and society and to debate various issues.
