GERMAN PHONETICS

Phonetics is a discipline that examines speech sounds in the following aspects: laryngeal, pharyngeal, oral and nasal output, the acoustic properties of the sounds, and the perception and processing of sounds by the ear and human brain. The subject area of phonetics is the spoken language in all its realizations.

This event is part of the Gauss-Reading circle. The aim of the reading circle is to deepen your language skills and apply them in everyday life. You can improve your grammar, rhetoric and phonetics and combine the useful with enjoyment: live culture, improve your understanding of the language and share the joy of the German language with other international students.
