With its history of mass immigration dating from the 17th century, the United States of America is a “melting pot” of cultures from around the world and plays a dominant role in the world’s cultural landscape. It’s home to a wide array of popular tourist destinations, ranging from the skyscrapers of Manhattan and Chicago to the natural wonders of Yellowstone and Alaska, to the warm, sunny beaches of Florida, Hawaii and Southern California.
For this evening, a special program will be implemented due to the “Wahl-Abend” (Election-evening) of the Department for international students:
There won’t be any consulting sessions during this evening. However, you may arrange an appointment outside Gauss house for urgent matters.
6:00pm: USA Cooking-Workshop
7:00pm: Introduction of the political parties / candidates of the student elections for the summer semester 2018.
7:30pm: Presentation about USA
From ca. 8:00pm: International tearoom (games, tea, meet new people…)
8:30-10:00pm: International dance course
Opening times of the ballot box: 7:00-9:00pm
