Breathing Yoga is one of the eight kinds of Yoga for the people of all age groups, especially students who want to train during freezing winters. Just like any other indoor-sport it is an intense sport and can be performed anywhere anytime just sitting on one a chair and requires no special sports outfit.
Participants are advised to have their last meal at least 2 hours before the Yoga session.
Major Advantages of Breathing Yoga besides calorie burning is better Body-mind control, instant stress and anxiety reduction and better organ function.

During the session, the following 3 exercises shall be practiced.
1. Kapalbhati (Intense Exhaling)
2. Anulom-Vilom (Alternate Nostril Breathing)
3. Uddiyana Bandh (stomach Vacuum)

Prānāyām (Prān-a-yam) ~ (Breath Control) is a practice to gain control of your breath and mind via training the respiratory System. It is one of the most important parts of the Yog aiming toward the mind control.
Out of the 8 constituents of Yog, Prānāyām is the 4th constituent of it and is designed to train the body organs for their increased efficiency and longevity. Designed With the ultimate aim to reach the divine, the Yog is being constituted of 8 parts, where Parts 3 and 4 handle to enhance the body and mind capabilities.
1. Yam ( behavioral control- Social)
2. Niyam ( behavioral control-Self)
3. Āsan (YOGA- Physical Exercise)
4. Prānāyām (Breath/Mind control)
5. Pratyāhār(Emotional Control)
6. Dhārnā(Intellect Build-up)
7. Dhyān(meditation)
8. Samādhi ( Union with divine)

Regular practice of Prānāyām enhances the neural function and better body –mind coordination. This means a stable mood and energy levels and ability to coop-up with stress throughout the day. Contrary to other sports, even being an intensive sport, after practicing Prānāyām, you will free more energized, enthusiastic throughout the day.

In other regular sports, where generally the muscles are trained through various physical activities, the organs like heart, lungs, brain, liver and stomach perform only supportive functions to enable that activity. Through Prānāyām, we train these body organs directly without putting stress on muscles and rather than relaxing them. A better and more efficient support system in turn results in better strength, stamina and performance in other sports.
