CHINESE MOON FESTIVAL

The Moon Festival, also called Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节 – Zhōngqiūjié), is celebrated in Asia on the 15th day of the eighth month in the traditional Chinese lunar calendar and is the most important festival in China after the Chinese New Year Festival. We will start with a Chinese cooking workshop, before a lecture will introduce the history of the Chinese Lunar Festival. The following time can be used for intercultural exchange with fun and games, as every Tuesday in the Gauss House.

▪ Where? Gauss Haus, Güldenstr. 8, 38100 Braunschweig

The presentation will be streamed additionally on Facebook Live : www.facebook.com/gaussfriends
