End of semester concert: Next Level – July 15th – July 19th, 2023

The choir and orchestra of the TU Braunschweig will perform together in the Audimax with the concert “Next Level”. Film music has often been a component of concerts. But with music from video and computer games, the ensembles are also entering new musical territory. This is an area in which there is perhaps the greatest creative dynamism at the moment. As a market, games have long since overtaken blockbuster cinema.

The programming within the two ensembles has also developed a unique dynamic. Never before has the involvement of the participants been so great as in this project. The desire to include the music of their favorite games in the program has led to many direct contacts with composers, arrangers and other orchestras, in all directions and on all continents.
