Everyone now knows what a virus looks like. The pandemic has led to images of science becoming an integral part of our everyday culture. In its image practice, natural science makes use of special forms of representation and technologies such as the MRI, X-rays, etc. The medical view goes under the skin. The medical gaze gets under the skin. By taking up motifs from the world of scientific imagery, connections are increasingly being made between scientific research and visual art. UNDER THE SKIN shows positions of Sabina Hyoju Ahn, Anna-Maria Meyer, Anna Miethe, Theresa Schubert, which move in this field of tension.

Exhibition “Mobility in times of Corona” – until January 14th, 2022
As a conclusion of the photo competition “Mobility in times of Corona” of the Lower Saxony Research Center for Automotive Engineering (Niedersächsisches Forschungszentrum Fahrzeugtechnik – NFF), the twelve winning photos are now exhibited. Until January 14th, 2022 you can still admire the hobby photographs at the NFF.
