Johann Carl Friedrich Gauss was born on April 30, 1777, in Braunschweig. He was a German mathematician, astronomer, geodesist and physicist. Due to his outstanding scientific achievements, he was recognized in his lifetime as the “prince of mathematicians”.

The “Internationaler Kreis der Carl-Friedrich-Gauss Freunde e.V.” would like to cordially celebrate the birthday of C.F. Gauß (born April 30, 1777 in Brunswick) with you. The highlight of the event is the presentation of the book “Johanna und C.F. Gauss – encounters of a special kind “.

You can expect a varied supporting program with musical accompaniment, theatrical staging and readings by the  international project participants.

Afterwards there is the possibility to exchange and to conclude the event together.

We are looking forward to this year together with you to continue this festive, annual tradition in a special setting!
