Society of Friends of Young Art until September 5th, 2021

A comparison to courtly art before Duke Ernst August’s abdication in 1918 demonstrates how great changes in the artistic taste of the time actually were: Experience the remarkable development from courtly portraits to abstract works. Make acquaintance with the greats of the then avant-garde of dance and visual art. View works by artists from Braunschweig who held their own at the time on an equal footing with artists who are still renowned today.
